Securus Technologies provides number of communications programs such as Prepaid, Direct, Debit, Prepaid Calling Cards, Voice Mail Messaging, Anywhere Acceptance and Electronic Mail, for remaining in contact with inmates. The details of programs are given below and their availability depend on facility.
Anywhere Acceptance
Using this program one can list multiple phone numbers to receive the calls from inmates. It requires inputting a user identification number to accept call at any registered phone, at any location so that the calls are never missed.
First Call Connect
Using this detainee can alert friends or family members of their incarceration by permitting a brief conversation to alert the called party to open an account. The system prompts for opening the account after brief conversation is over.
Prepaid Calling Cards
The prepaid cards in various denominations are available for inmate to make call from the facility, provided it provide the same.
AdvanceConnect Account/Prepaid Account
AdvanceConnect account is the prepaid account with following features:
- Multiple phone so that one can be contacted anywhere
- Call can be received at Cell phones, home phones and Internet phone services
- There is 24/7/365 access to the account information through company's automated phone system and website
Direct Bill Account
The direct account service is provided through Evercom or T-Netix) to activate and maintain the account. In this account a separate bill is generated every month for all charges. A handy reminder is also given when the call limits are close to being reached
Debit Accounts
Using this, the inmates can pay for the calls they make from a correctional facility with funds from their trust fund account. This helps inmate in maintenance of their calling accounts
Voicemail System
The voicemail system allows the voice message to be left so tat the important communication is always available even in the absence of an individual.
Secure Instant Mail
This facility allows one to send emails to inmates at participating facility. The email messages can be sent multiple times each day.
Automated Information Services
This service can be installed at any given facility. The voice recognition feature of the system allows an automated handling of the caller questions thereby avoiding long holding times and dropped calls problems faced by many friends and family members of inmates.
