PCS is a nationwide Inmate Communications Service provider with affordable calling options that are approved by the correctional facilities. The various services available are as follows:
Inmate Collect Calls
Using PCS facility the inmates can place collect calls to telephone numbers approved by the correctional facility. However the collect calls cannot be placed to the following
- Cell phone numbers
- Business phone numbers
- Hospitals phone numbers
- Commercial phone numbers
- Numbers that are serviced by Local Exchange Carriers that do not bill for collect calls
PCS Daily Dial
PCS' Daily Dial is a prepaid calling service and can be used in following scenarios :
- When there is collect call restriction by local phone provider
- One has exceeded the collect call limit
- One is unable to receive inmate calls on his/her cell phone, office phone, hospital phone or other commercial phone numbers
- The local telephone company does not bill for inmate collect calls
- The available phone number is blocked from receiving inmate collect calls
- The collect call bills high and they are to be managed withion calling budget
The prepaid facility allows receiving calls within 15 minutes of adding funds to the PCS Prepaid Daily Dial account.
The payments can be made using automated pay by phone, money Gram or credit/debit cards, Western union, money order or Cashier's Check
Minimum Payment to set up or recharge a Daily Dial Account is $50
Service Fees
- A $6.25 service fee is applied to all Daily Dial Account set up or recharge payment transactions conducted online or through the automated pay by phone service
- An $8.00 service fee is applied to all Daily Dial Account set up or recharge payment transactions conducted with the help of a live operator
- A $6.00 service fee is imposed by Western Union for all Daily Dial Account recharge payment transactions conducted via Western Union
- A $6.95 service fee is imposed by MoneyGram for all Daily Dial Account recharge payment transactions conducted via MoneyGram, except for payments made via a Wal-Mart MoneyGram location. Payments made through a Wal-Mart MoneyGram location will subject to a $6.25 service fee
- NO SERVICE FEE is applied when recharging prepaid account using a money order or cashier's check
Debit calling option
PCS' also provides a debit calling option. This allows inmates to set up a debit phone account through their facility commissary and pay for their calls in advance. There are no charges for setting up this account. The account can be used for calling facility-allowed phone numbers including cell phones, business phones, hospitals, international numbers and other commercial phone numbers.
The debit phone account can be funded using the commissary at the facility or the family and friends can add money to this account. The payments can be made using automated pay by phone, money Gram or credit/debit cards, Western union, money order or Cashier's Check
