JPay provide inmate telephone services for family & friends of inmates. JPay provides following services:
- Buy Prepaid Phone Time
- Trust Account Payments
- Inmate Email
- Community Correction Payments
The JPay prepaid service provide prepaid based call from inmate. It is web based service and tracks the inmate locations once they are registered and transferred between various correctional facilities.
The Trust account facility allows transfer of money to inmates. The money is credited to inmate account in the morning of following day after payment. This can be verified using web based interface.
The Inmate email allows user to send email to inmate. The email sent is printed by JPay and then delivered to the inmate within 24 hrs.
Using Jpay offenders can send community corrections payments including victim restitution, court costs and fines, cost of supervision fees, room and board and drug testing fees. The money sent through JPay is received community corrections staff by the following morning. Using this facility a parolee can also pay restitution.
JPay also runs Friends and Family Forum on their web site where family & friend can post their views & problems.
