Securus Correctional Billing Services AdvanceConnect Account is a prepaid count receiving calls from correctional facilities. You can add many phone numbers to your account to be sure you can be reached wherever you are.
Direct Bill Account
Direct Bill Account is best if you are bail bondsmen, attorney, social worker, or other business or government agency
Traditional Collect Account
If a Traditional Collect Account is available for your phone number, it is a convenient way to accept and pay for calls received. Your Securus Correctional Billing Services account has a 90 day rolling spending limit and call charges appear on your local phone bill.
Collect calls are considered "operator assisted calls". There is a surcharge applied to this type of service. The surcharge is in addition to the applicable per minute rate of the call. In addition, providers of collect calling services from correctional facilities typically adopt the rates for operator assisted calls of dominant carriers such as AT&T, MCI/Worldcom, or the Bell Operating Companies.
Securus Correctional Billing Services (CBS) rates are in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.

Traditional Collect Account
You may make a payment on your Traditional Collect Account simply by paying your local phone bill. If you line is blocked because you have hit your spending limit, you may contact https://www.correctionalbillingservices.com/general/ContactUs.aspx or call Correctional Billing Services to pay any unbilled charges (that is, charges that have not yet been sent to your local phone company).

AdvanceConnect Account or Direct Bill Account

You may not use all the money that you have placed into your AdvanceConnect™ Account by the time the inmate is released. If you need to, you may request a refund of your remaining balance. AdvanceConnect™ Accounts with a balance remaining on them will expire one hundred eighty (180) days from the date of the last call placed and paid for using the Securus Correctional Billing Services account. On expired Accounts, no refunds are issued after the Account expiration date. Prior to expiration, a full or partial refund may be obtained.
To obtain a refund on an unexpired Account, contact CBS by phone at 1-800-844-6591, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by chat at www.correctionalbillingservices.com. For all check and credit/debit card transactions made by phone or on CBS website, refunds will be applied to the checking account or credit/debit card you last used. For refunds on Accounts that were paid via Western Union or for payments mailed in, a refund check is mailed via regular U.S. Postal Service. Processing takes 2-3 weeks. When paying with a personal check, a returned check charge of up to $25 may be applied for dishonored checks. Additional charges such as late payment fees may apply where applicable.
