Cons Call Home Phone Service

State, County, and City prisons almost all work with collect calls or pre-paid phone accounts with the facility's phone providers. The way this works is, the inmate must call collect at a very high fee or whomever they are calling will contact the phone company the prison has a contract with and set up a pre-paid contract so the inmate can call home. The phone companies have a monopoly on these calls. Now they can charge extremely high fees for long distance calls and inmates, their friends, and their families are forced to pay them.

ConsCallHome.com subscription allows you to save money if the specific facility allows pre paid account. The calling plans work in addition to the pre-paid account with the facility's mandated phone provider, allowing you to pay local call rates instead of the outrageous long distance call rates.

ConsCallHome has developed technology to allow you to have a "local" (to the prison) phone line that rings wherever you live. This means with ConsCallHome, the inmate will be calling a "local" number to reach you, your home, or office instead of dialing "long distance" at inflated rates. That way the savings stay in your inmates commissary account.

ConsCallHome service reduces the existing costs of receiving calls from prison and jails. It works with the phone systems, but makes them cheaper because it provides you a local phone number to the jail allowing your inmate to call you at your home or cell number.

ConsCallHome sales and support team is available to assist you with your order Monday through Friday from 9 AM until 10 PM, Saturday from 9 AM until 8 PM and Sunday from 12 PM until 8 PM. All times are Eastern Standard Time. Contact Number is 888-524-6151.

ConsCallHome can use any active phone you currently have: home phone, cell phone, office phone. You do not have to buy a new phone nor any hardware to have a ConsCallHome Direct Line, so the savings start with the very first call.

ConsCallHome also provides Millicorp SIP adapter a small box which connects to your broadband internet at your home or office. It provides you with an analog phone port to connect a normal home phone to your ConsCallHome Direct Line. This will allow your normal home phone to make and receive calls directly with your ConsCallHome provided local phone numbers. The Millicorp SIP device works using your internet connection to transport the call. Broadband is required because a dial up connection would not give you the required quality for you calls.

The total procedure is as follows:

  1. Setup an account with ConsCallHome.com and receive a local phone number to the correction facility of your choice.
  2. Provide the local number given to you as your outbound number with correctional facility. If required, contact the prison phone provider and setup a pre-paid account.
  3. Inmate can now utilize the number provided by ConsCallHome.com to call out from their correctional facility.
  4. You receive the call as you did before to your existing phone or cell phone. Simply pick up the call and start saving!
